I am a Chief Investment Office of Prevatt Capital, a firm I founded.
Prevatt Capital is an investment manager that focuses on long term investing. We seek to invest at reasonable prices in companies that produce significant free cash flow and have high returns on capital. The fund’s investments consist of listed equities, predominantly mid to large-cap companies.
Variant Perception is a macroeconomic research group providing a unique view on financial markets and the global economy. Clients include some of the best known and most highly regarded hedge funds, banks, asset managers and family offices.
I am a founder of Demotix.
Demotix was a citizen journalism website and photo agency. It enabled freelance journalists and amateurs to share their user-generated content and photojournalism, and license them to clients including mainstream media organizations, charities, and stock image buyers. I started it with Turi Munthe, who was the CEO. We sold Demotix to Corbis, a company owned by Bill Gates, in 2012.
Before Variant Perception and Demotix, I was a Vice President on the proprietary trading desk trading rates and currencies at Bank of America in London from 2005-07. I was an equity analyst at SAC Capital from 2003-05 in Stamford, Connecticut.
